About Project
Swayamsiddha Society is constantly working for Beti Bachao- Beti Padhao Abhiyan. In this process members of society are going to various villages of Distt. Karnal with lowest sex ratio and planting the trees with names of new born baby girls. The society is also giving gifts to every new born girl child.
In this project 22 villages with low sex ratio were covered and in each village a tree was planted in the name of girl child born and gifts were also given to girl child.The various villages covered are Nithori, Rampura, Jainpur, Chhapriyon Smaspur, Kheri Mann Singh, MatakMajri, Jainpur, Chhapprion,in Indri block, MajraRoran, Jamba, Shekhanpur, Gangar, Bhukhhapuri, DayaNagar in Nilokheri Block, Rukanpur, Abdullapur, Landora, Salarpur, DabarkiKhurd in Karnal block, Bassi akbarpur in Gharaunda Block, RangrutiKhera in Assandh Block .A total of more than 100 trees were planted in name of 91 girl childs in these villages. Swayamsiddha Society is actively participating in Beti Bachao- Beti Padao Abhiyan with District Administration as President, Swayamsiddha Society Dr. Ranjana Sharma is member of 'Task Force' under Chairmanship of Dr. J. Ganesan, Deputy Commissioner, Karnal. In addition , villagers, especially women folk, were told regarding awareness of low sex ratio and under Beti Bachao- Beti Padhao Anhiyan, pledge was taken by villagers to save girl child and to promote girls education under the guidance of Mrs. Sangeetha Manohar wife of Dr. J. ganesan Deputy Commissioner, Karnal, & Dr. Ranjana Sharma, President Swayamsiddha Society.
Tree Plantation 01/08/2015--In continuation to tree plantation in 22 villages with low sex ratio in Karnal District, A tree plantation programme was organised at MPK Welfare Centre of Speech & Hearing Impairment, Karnal on 01/08/2015. Hon'ble Deputy Commissioner Karnal Dr. J. Ganesan gracefully consented to be Chief Guest on this occassion. Society members , teachers & students of centre also planted trees in the campus with the motto
